What is a Sample?

Samples are boots that have undergone travel, photoshoots and could show signs of wear and tear. They are not brand new products which is why they are available at a discounted rates.

What is a Sample Sale?

A sample sale is a way to clear out styles that have not been selected by retailers, or styles that will no longer be made.

Why do we have a sample sale?

We host a sample sale to give our supporters the opportunity to purchase our product at a discounted price. We produce over 1200 sample pairs per year across all collections and each pair of our samples needs to find a happy home.

How do I find my correct size?

If this is your first time purchasing a pair of Old Gringo Boots, make sure your foot has recently been measured. Reference the size guide here. Our boots tend to have a more European fit, so for those with more athletic calves, we recommend considering a half size larger when ordering boots 13” or taller or stick to styles with 10” or shorter shaft heights. For those with high arched feet or instep, we recommend boots with zippers or elastics. 

What if the style color looks different in person than online?

There may be a slight color variations on images due to the brightness of your monitor or devices and the conditions the photos were taken. However, feel free to reach out to us if you have any issues with the product. 

How do I take care of the boots?

Remove dirt and dust after each wear. Wipe your boots off with a soft cloth, dampen slightly if needed.
Apply a leather conditioner and cream occasionally. (Remember some boots have different color leathers so be careful).
Store your boots properly; keeping them at proper humidity levels so they can remain in great condition longer.
keep your boots away from pets. 
We recommend using a boot bag to transport your boots.
If your boots have lots of embellishments, be mindful of how you walk or drive in your boots, use an Old Gringo Boot Jack to assist in removing your cowboy boots.

Can I ship to P.O. Box?

Unfortunately we cannot ship to a PO Box. We use UPS as our shipping method and need a physical street address for delivery.

What Shipping options are available?

The options available with UPS Shipping are: UPS ground.

What forms of payment are accepted

We accept all the major debit/credit card - Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

When will my order Ship?

Your orders will be processed within 5-7 business days of receipt, excluding weekends and holidays. Orders placed after 12 PM CST on Friday or on the weekends will not be processed until Monday. 

Do you charge sales tax?

Yes, we are required by law to charge sales tax and is collected based on Nexus regulations and reporting.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

Can I ship an order internationally?

Yes, you can purchase our products internationally.

What are the rates for international Shipping?

We are not able to provide you with an actual rate as the rates will be based on the weight and country it is shipped to.

Who is responsible for customs/duties and taxes?

The customer is responsible for paying all customs and duties.
